How switching works.
A clear, realistic plan — from your current contract to a team that’s confident with the new system. Timings depend on checks, not guesswork.
- 01
Contract & bill review
We look at your current contracts, notice periods and bills so the move is planned around your commitments.
You’ll need- · Recent bills
- · Contract end dates and notice terms
- · Who is authorised to make changes on the account
- 02
Discovery & site checks
We understand how your team works and check connectivity and the practical details of each site.
You’ll need- · Broadband availability and suitability check at your address
- · Where phones, routers and power are located
- · Parking or access arrangements for an engineer visit
- 03
Number porting preparation
Keeping your existing numbers is usually possible, subject to checks and acceptance by your current provider.
You’ll need- · Numbers to keep, with the account holder details
- · A letter of authority where required
- · A port date agreed and confirmed with you
- 04
Kit & platform setup
Users, call routing, greetings and devices are configured to your agreed design. Integrations only after compatibility is confirmed.
You’ll need- · User list and who answers which calls
- · Opening hours and out-of-hours handling
- · Software, CRM version and licence details for any integration
- 05
Installation & training
Installation is scheduled with your nominated contact, followed by training so your team is confident on day one.
You’ll need- · An installation contact and a decision maker available on the day
- · Time set aside for staff training
- · A backup plan agreed for the switchover window
- 06
Follow-up & support
We check in after go-live to adjust routing and settings as you get used to the new system.
You’ll need- · Feedback from your team
- · Any changes to opening hours or teams
- · A named point of contact for future changes
Switching questions
Will I keep my numbers?
In most cases numbers can be transferred, but it depends on checks and acceptance by your current provider. We confirm before agreeing a port date.
Will there be downtime?
We plan to keep disruption to a minimum and agree a backup plan for the switchover, but we don’t promise zero downtime. Port timing is confirmed by the providers involved.
How long does it take?
It depends on your contracts, number porting, broadband orders and site needs. We give you a timeline once the checks are done rather than a fixed figure up front.
What if my broadband isn’t suitable?
Availability requires a real check at your address. If an upgrade or new line is needed, it is planned into the timeline before go-live.
Who needs to be involved?
Someone authorised on your current accounts, an installation contact on site and a decision maker for the configuration.
